General help and for recording items for Audio Wikinews.
Follow the template guidelines when recording, even if you are not planning to release a transcript. We encourage that a transcript be provided, to help others (such as those who have a poor understanding of spoken English) understand what the person is saying.

- Treat wiki-links like text when reading (for example, "blue suede shoes" would be read just as "blue suede shoes"). Any vocal indication of every link would disrupt the flow.
- Speak clearer and more slowly than every day conversations.
- Do not read article titles when recording files. This results in a break of flow and can be confusing to some listeners. If needed, listen to your local radio to hear how they compile their news and emulate their style.
