关于新闻内容的时间 编辑
很多新闻条目都带有时间，但这些时间通常并没有写明应用的时区。我认为未来的条目中应该出现并写清是当地时间（这个很有必要），并且如果条目中出现的是具体时间，则可以附注UTC时间。Rafom 2009年4月8日 (三) 03:11 (UTC)

This year's conference will be handled from August 26-28 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The scholarship can be used to help offset the costs of travel and registration. 我是Gene吉恩，维基新闻管理员之一。非常不好意思，可以说在最近半年以来，我几乎没有参与维基新闻。我想我不得不在这里向大家解释。我是一名北京市的高三学生，今年(2009年)6月参加高考，是因为这个原因，在最近这段时间内，我参与维基新闻的机会很少，刚才看到有朋友说“總是在需要管理員時就不見人”，感到非常汗颜。在这里向大家为我最近没有尽到管理员责任而郑重道歉。另外，预计在6月之后，我又会有固定的时间可以长期参与维基新闻（和维基百科），期望在那时能够和大家一起写更多更多新闻，为大家更多更多地服务，尽到我的职责！恳请大家的谅解，尤其恳请其他管理员朋友们的谅解！--Gene吉恩 (说) 2009年4月11日 (六) 13:17 (UTC)

- 新聞{報道}或是{報導}這兩個詞語，在中國大陸、香港和台灣在使用上有一定的分歧，中國大陸、香港在九十年代認為應該使用新聞{報道}，新聞{報導}是別字；台灣是使用新聞{報導}，我都同意是使用{報道}，如果沒有反對的話，我不反對在中文維基新聞使用{報道}的。—維基新聞記者 Railhk0512 2009年5月4日 (一) 10:47 (UTC)

I've initializised Category date and archive date for the current month and next month :
- Category:2009年6月 and subcategories (with interwiki)
- Project:2009年/5月 and subpages (with interwiki)
